I wanted to love these for cement board. Unfortunately the rim is not serrated so setting the screw into the cement board is not possible. The regular hardi screws are sharp on top so the screw sets perfectly. These sit slightly proud of the surface.

They will go into the floor and hold down your board, they will do the job. Other screws available set better, go in more easily and hold better. I had to set almost every one with an impact after the auto feed went as far as it could. Still faster than doing the whole procedure without a collated gun.
