This pet gate was fairly easy to install, and has been secure and stable for our cats vs. visiting cats. It is easy to open and shut, and offers just enough visibility for cats on both sides to feel secure enough to stay calm. Very few hisses. It does look a little bit like a jail door but the white color and fact that it is easy to open and later remove, as the cats continue to interact calmly with their friends on the other side of the slammer. This has worked better as a way to gradually introduce 2 sets of cats than our previous efforts with partially opened bedroom doors.

First night with this pet gate, and let me just say—it’s the Fort Knox of feline containment! As a foster for my local humane society, I’ve seen my fair share of pet gates, but this one is the cat’s meow. My current tenant, a pregnant foster with Olympic-level jumping skills, could clear a standard gate in her sleep. This gate, however? Not a chance. It’s built like a fortress, and I’m pretty sure it could hold back a tiger if needed. 10/10, would recommend to anyone with escape artists disguised as pets!

This gate has been a lifesaver for introducing our two kittens to our older cat. It’s the purr-fect solution for letting them safely explore each other on their own terms. The kittens can’t squeeze through, and neither the kittens nor the cat can jump over it. We feel secure knowing no one is escaping, and the setup was incredibly easy. It’s made the introduction process so much smoother and stress-free for everyone. Highly recommend for anyone managing multi-cat households or introducing new pets!

Nowhere in the instruction booklet does it address the black disc that is required for holding the gate in place in a doorway. The directions provide black caps and screws, but no directions on how they are to be used or where. The gate does not arrive "square" when taken out of the box, and placement in the doorway resulted in a 4 inch gap between the top of the door (larger spacing), than the bottom of the door (1 inch gap). Working around the zip ties and getting the gate back into alignment is very difficult, although the website did suggest a rope. There are no written instructions on how the gate is to be assembled. The picture quality is very poor and impossible to discern the different parts and how or where they go. While it is a great gate once properly assembled and inserted into a wooden doorway, the instructions are such that they are.

The gate arrived promptly. Once in the doorway, it was solid. We are using it to keep a cat in isolation, and I can't imagine the cat being able to knock the gate free and, because he's older, I doubt he can jump over it. A younger, more adventurous cat would have me concerned, and for such a cat, I recommend a taller gate.The directions were problematic. The written directions were basic at best, and they refer to a wider gate with extensions we didn't purchase. There is a code to scan to bring buyers to an instructional video, but that code didn't work, so we had to wing it.

Needing a gate for kitties is 🤠but this design with height and functionality is imo worth every penny! It would’ve been nice if the closure point didn’t scratch as easy, a little unsightly for my observant eye 😬
