Was looking for a pant with UV protection of the thighs and down the leg so my legs don't get massively sun burned when I'm out paddling around on my paddle board. I don't do water sports enough to "build up a tan" so I look for fabrics to cover my skin that have the UV protection. These pants are dark, they don't seem to "shine through" to your skin and have a nice panty on the inside for extra coverage of your back side. I like the draw string as well, to give me the exact fit I want to feel at my waist. The only thing that would put these over the top would be a side pocket option to put things like chapstick, phone (inside a water proof case of course) earphones etc...but I can solve this problem by sewing on a pocket myself. I put "fits as expected" in the How does this product fit, but just be aware that they do feel a bit tight, when trying to get them on, just like a tight swimsuit would feel. But once they were on, they were very comfortable.

Bought these almost 2 years ago now and unlike many other reviewers, mine are holding up great. I've worn them in the pool, in the ocean, in the lake, on the beach, in the rainforest, and under a dive suit - all on multiple occasions with no issues at all. They cover well even when I bend over, are not hot in the sun, have a tie on the inside that keeps them secure during active sports like water skiing or tubing, and are flattering on my short physique. Each time I wear them, I rinse them as soon as I'm done in the water and let them hang dry. When I wash them, I use eco-friendly laundry soap, skip the fabric softener, then let them air dry and they've held up beautifully. I'm no spring chicken and I've gained some weight as I've gained some years, so these have been a godsend. No more feeling self conscious trying to stuff my body into an awkwardly revealing swimsuit with my cheeks hanging out just to enjoy a day in the water. Now I can focus on enjoying the water instead. I have 2 navy, 1 black, and 1 patterned blue pair and I'm still very happy with my purchases.

Only down side of these is that I wish the top had more elastic or a longer drawstring. Fits great otherwise and looks great. Has held up well in pool all summer. We’ll made for the price. Swim liner is super thin, but I don’t really mind that.

Slimming. Doesn't fade. Love the UPF protection. You can swim or sail all day without needing to use ocean damaging sun screen. Run around the beach or pool, play volleyball, hoist a sail, paddle board, without being naked from the hip bone down....so NO self consciousness. Totally hides cellulite. It looks fashionable and sporty.Wet pants keep you cooler longer. Good thick fabric wears well. Love these! This is the direction for swim wear.I pair it with a long sleeved UPF 50 swim shirt. Happy summer!

This is my second pair of swim capri's. These have a built in panty so you feel covered. They go well with any tankini. Very comfortable and have a waist tie inside too. The blend of stretch is perfect and the fabric holds up well. These are the best.

I purchased these for sun protection on the beach. All I've done so far is try them on, not yet washed. They fit nicely f I'd wanted a slightly-south-of-natural-waist fit that doesn't go to the ankles. Since I'm not caring too much (not spending public time on beach; family doesn't count), it's not a huge issue as this time. The fabric is pleasingly substantial; the panty-liner a bonus. The non-binding lower border pleases me, especially as they aren't long enough to reach my ankles. The item smells so chemically awful that I suspect it's loaded with pesticides from shipment-- may take several washings to become comfortable that I've gotten rid of the chemicals.Three stars for "simple satisfaction", "average like". If they hold up for 4-5 summers, I'll add a star!

My first impression is that these are comfortable and well made. I can't wait to hit the pool in them!I'm not usually very confident in a regular swimsuit bottom. While I don't normally feel insecure, a regular bathing suit has always pushed me to my limits ... I have heavy thighs/backside with a high dose of hereditary cellulite...the worst part of being waterside for me has always been that walk from the towel to the water and back, where I couldn't cover up quick enough! I feel very secure and fashionable in these!I paired it with a top I bought at a department store and couldn't be happier!I am a normal size 16-18 on the bottom, and the fit is great.I'm actually looking forward to being able to get in and out of that water without rushing to hide myself!

I hesitated going to the pool and being seen in a swimsuit that revealed my need to lose weight, then decided it was more important to get exercise than to worry about what others thought about my size. So I bought a swimsuit for water aerobics that has a blouson/tankini top with separate mid thigh shorts. It gave me back my confidence to be seen in public but I still wanted a little more coverage for the legs. (You know, vericose veins, spider veins, cellulite) These fit the bill perfectly and are very flattering. They aren't too tight that they restrict movement in the water and aren't too loose that they ride up. They dry quickly and don't seem to be affected by the chlorine in the pool. No fading so far. Now there are no excuses for those who love the water but haven't had the courage to be seen in a swimsuit. If I can do it, you can do it too. I'm almost 70 years old, very overweight, and feel great. Highly recommend these swim capris!

Great value! They look and fit really well. I only got to wear them once before the weather turned cold but found them really great and ordered a second pair.

Edit- 2nd review:(July 2022) still in love with these so I purchased another pair! (Septangle with black and blue) The first pair still in great shape but I wanted another before I couldn’t them anymore and I’ll be travelling often again. As you can see by the pictures the first pair looks almost brand new (almost a year old) and kept its shape! I wore them A LOT. Absolutely a great buy! Love love love!!!! The first pair is on the left and in the next pic they are underneath.First review: (Dec 2021) It fit perfect! Used them for 3 months in the Caribbean Sea and salt water. Starting to see some wear from washing but I wore them often. Absolutely loved these. No regrets, buying another pair. Got a lot of compliments esp on my backside lol.
