When it comes to plumbing. I am an idiot. No matter what I do. Or how much I prepare. There always seems to be a leak. Not with this product!! I watched a few quick videos on YouTube on how to install these and then replaced 2 water taps and the pipe in between in under 10min. NO LEAKS. Super easy to use excellent product at less than half the price of the equivalent Shark Bite version

So, I live in a 1968 Airstream trailer that I remodeled with pex plumbing a few years back. As I've come to spend more time in the trailer, post pandemic, I've found it burdensome to refill my coffee machine every two or three days with water. The machine I use had an option for a plumbed in water reservoir kit so I bought that and installed it in the trailer. The only difficulty in the operation was that the pex water line that I needed to tie into was in a really tight space. As anyone who has installed pex knows, the tool needed to compress the copper bands on normal pex fittings requires a huge amount of room to operate. With this sharkbite fitting all that is needed is to cut the pex line with a tubing cutter and pop the valve in. Quick. Simple. I can tell you from experience that this pex fitting will work on 1/2 inch copper tubing as well. As to its design and quality, I would say that it's identical to the ones sold in the home depots and Lowe's.

After staring at the fittings aisle at the local big box store forever and buying and returning a lot of the wrong parts, this is the thing I needed the whole time. No leaks yet, it's been in place a couple months, easy install to get a T line off the cold water side to supply our new hot water on demand faucet. Wife is stoked about instant tea making.
