These are large dredges and I think they are the perfect size for salt as you don't have to keep filling them. They are polished and they look good, easy to clean.What I find misleading, hence the 1 star, is that the product description does not tell you that these are Winco dredges. Other reviews of these Winco dredges suggest they are subject to rust. I have only had mine for a (dry winter) month, and so far they have not developed any rust.

These are really big and the salt comes out pretty fast. I love them because they are easy to find on my counters.
