How to install the sewing machine light
1. Clean the area you want to install the sewing light;
2. Measure and cut the length of the sewing light strip you need;
3. Peel the tape off and stick the light to sewing machine;
4. Fix the wire with the sticky tab;
5. Connect the power supply, then slide your finger across the switch to turn on the light;
6. Press the switch few seconds to adjust the brightness.

I am new to sewing; this was a retirement hobby I am learning. Unfortunately, my eyes are not what they used to be and working with the needle, the bobbin, etc. is hard to see! This light is amazing, easily applies to your machine and it perfect and very bright. Love it and it made life much easier when working on my quilting. Great value!

I love how bright it is!! I was struggling to see with just the machine light. I also like that this is dimable for times I don't need it as bright.Pictures are on low and high. You hold the button down as it does low or high. You pick the desired brightness for your needs.It was so easy to install and it is so great that it's trimmable to shorten as needed for individual machines.The adhesive keeps it securely in place and the cord clips help to keep the cord out of the way too.I will share this with our sewing group as I know others have needed better lighting on their machines.It was affordable and good quality for the price.What I can't speak to is the longevity but time will tell.

I got this for my mom who needed more light to sew. Although these have Velcro, she put magnets on them to have more functionality and be able to move it around from one sewing machine to another. She loves that it gives more light at night when she is sewing and that it is just the right size to squeeze in small places.

WOW! This little adhesive strip of lights is something every sewist should have in their studio. Total game-changer. I put it under the edge of a large shelving unit that I transformed into my cutting/ironing area. Illumination-plus! Absolutely fantastic product!

These are quite bright for small lights--so much so that it's important to place them where they don't shine in my eyes. The strip was too long for my machine, but it was easy to snip off the unneeded length. I'm not sure how long the double sided tape that sticks them on is going to last. Finally, this isn't the manufacturer's fault but it turns out that it's kind of annoying having yet another cord/cable around my sewing space.

My machine is too small to have this on it, so I stuck it on the wall behind my machine and that works great. The brightness is spectacular. It even looks cool. Easy to use and put up. Fits better on wider machines, but works great behind it too.
