  • Signature Dimebucker Pickup - This humbucker pickup offers a crunchy pick attack, scooped mids, and just the right amount of saturation, perfect for any electric guitar player.
  • Distinctive Tonal Quality - The Dimebucker delivers a thick crunch that sags slightly when played hard, providing a unique, saturated tone that doesn't break up or go crazy.
  • Versatile Sound Range - With a full, tight, low-end response and a smooth, crunchy distortion tone, this pickup offers a wide range of sounds, from warm tone with mixed distortion to a high-end cut that's just right.
  • Massive Metal Tone - Not many high-output passive humbucker pickups are capable of the massive metal tone of Dimebag Darrell. Striking the perfect balance between beef, crunch, edge, biting treble, and punchy bass, while still delivering an overall smoothness.
  • Made in the USA - Hand built in our Santa Barbara, CA, factory, the Dimebucker features a ceramic magnet with dual stainless-steel blades, ensuring top-notch quality and squeal-free performance.

As you'd expect, the Dimebucker SH-13 from Seymour Duncan offers the same kind of ultra-high output that makes conjuring face-melting metal tones that it's namesake was famous for. In case you haven't guessed, that namesake would be "Dimebag" Darrell, the Texas guitarist that rose to fame providing the riffage for metal legends Pantera, and later Damageplan, and the Dimebucker SH-13 has that aggressive tone in spades. And speaking of tone, the blade-style design keeps the tone consistent through the most devastating bends. Fore pure metal, it's the Dimebucker SH-13. Seymour Duncan Dimebucker SH-13 at a Glance: Sound Complete setup Sound The Dimebucker uses a powerful ceramic magnet coupled with stainless steel blades for hard-hitting crunch. The SH-13 has both high d.c. resistance and a high resonant peak. The result is a high-output, aggressive humbucker with more treble bite and clarity than an SH-8 Invader, as well as punchy bass response

Not probably what you'd expect.. A bit more lows and mids than a normal humbucker. These handle gain better than a normal humbucker and seem to add a bit more presence than a normal humbucker. If you play classic type rock these really are not suited for that. Is it worth switching out say to replace an Epiphone ProBucker? Not for the price tag. Not for a bit more of everything. A bit too much sizzle on the top end. If you are more metal or harder edged then these will do fine.

So, this is my third SD dimebucker. One is in my Dean ‘Dime slime’ guitar and two will now enhance my JAB custom guitars that a hand built. These pickups by Seymour Duncan are in a category all by themselves. There are Many great pickups out there between passive and active types and I own some of the best from both categories. However my ‘dimebucker’ has some recording qualities that come through better than others. From heaven over the top metal, to light and airy for those moments when a wall of sound is not needed for the music that you have created. I’m looking forward to using these pickups on my fifth studio album called ‘Comet’ and blending together some sonic sounds that will be memorable.Thank you Seymour Duncan

Wow what a guitar pick up if you’re looking for this type of sound!!it is quite amazing, the tone is astonishing and this is compared to a invader Hum bucker I was shocked at the difference!!!!! I’m finding it hard to play any of my other guitars now ,it has ruined me.. but that’s a good thing!!! thank Seymour Duncan

Used in a mitchell HD400. Went from mild to wild real quick! Powerful and clean. Crystal clean highs and good low end crunch. Surprisingly low feedback for a higher output pick-up. Don't be thrown off by it being a signature, it's very versatile 😉

Pretty much as advertised. I'd rather be able to rate it as 4.5 stars. The only reason I didn't give it five stars is that it is more muted on the low end than the sound graphs lead you to believe. You'll need a good eq to bring up the chomp. Otherwise, a very sonic and sensitive pick-up that performs better in my opinion than the EMGs, and no battery to maintain. I put this in a new Mahogany body Ibby Rg652 to give it a brighter, less underwater sound, and it sounds amazing. If you own a newer Prestige Ibanez RG or S series, note that you will be adding some holes to mount this. It doesn't bother me as I don't ever sell my Ibbys, but if you want to maintain your axe's worth, you will have to get creative with the double stick foam to use this. I would definitely recommend this pick-up if you are wanting to jettison active pick-ups, but grab an eq if you don't already have one to make these shine.

Nice and easy to install, didn't notice to much difference with my mlx stock pickup and this on my boss katana. Its abit louder and pinch harmonics squealed a little more. However on my micro terror I did notice a big difference. Mostly volume and clarity which is what you want. Not sure if this is because its a solid state valve hybrid and the katana has no valve? I dunno, but I found it was worth the 70 odd quid I paid and plus it looks badass.

El upgrade que toda guitarra necesita, lo tengo instalado en dos guitarras y si lo que buscas un sonido afiliado rico en armónicos este es una buena opción, muy parecido a los bill lawrence l500xl pero un poco más enfocado al metal.
