I just got a new fly reel and since it didn't come with a nice case, I looked around for something to keep it protected. There were lots of options at lots of different prices, but at the end of the day it's a neoprene case with a velcro closure, so there is no reason to pay $20 for a case. This one was $8 and I thought about ordering the small one because it was for a 3/4 weight reel, but then I looked at the description and saw that the medium was a better match.The case is nicely made, it came in one of those vacuum packages so it was small and then I opened it up, it grew into the size I needed. It fits my reel, looks nice and was agreat price. I liked it so well that I just ordered another one. I got a Aventik fly reel and liked it so much I ordered the 5/7 weight model and I'm sure the medium size will fit that one.Tight lines and keep your gear in a nice case.

These cases are perfect. Well made, nice thick material to protect your reels, and they are very decently priced. All around great case.

Check your reel dimensions first, these were almost certainly sized for small and mid arbor reels. They do stretch quite a bit though, so you may be able to cram a large arbor reel in these if it isn't too wide. I upsized to the 7/8 for my backup orvis large arbor clearwater, and it has plenty of room when wrapped around the rod as well. For larger weight reels, guessing anything larger than 9/10 for larger arbor reels, and probably around 11 for traditional reels, these cases will likely end up being too small.Beyond that, my deduction is because the velcro is really low quality. Mine sticks but it has an extremely light hold. This is the only fault I can find with this product which is a shame because it's otherwise everything I would want.

I'm glad I tool the extra time to measure my reel for this pouch. The smallest pouch perfectly fit my Orvis Battenkill I click reel. I use it for extra protection for the reel when carrying it in the drawstring bag that Orvis sent with the reel. It's not flashy, but it does it's job well, given the price I paid.

These reel cases are excellent and veryeconomical. Protects reel from scrapes and bumps as well as much higher priced cases.

Nice reel cover, especially for the price. I read the reviews about the sizes on these being small so I just ordered one for now to verify. I have two 5 weight and one 7 weight reels. I ordered the 7/8 weight and it fits both reels just fine, even when it's mounted to the rod. I'll be ordering a couple more for my 5 weight reels and will order the 7/8 cover.

A high quality neoprene reel case: very well designed and high quality materials and construction. Superb value for such a well made item which will stand many years of hard use protecting a precious fly reel.
