USE CASE: To quiet the road noise in a 2010 Toyota Prius III with Solar Moonroof and JBL/Nav.PROS:• ALMOST NO SMELL• GOES ON LIKE BUTTER ON A WARM DAY• EASY TO CUT• MALLEABLE• BACKING PEELS OFF EASY• ADHERES WELL TO SURFACESCONS:• A BIT HEAVYI didn’t really expect much because good sound deadening should be done in multiple layers, but this stuff possibly contains magic. I did 100% coverage because my Prius is like a tin can, with almost no factory deadening. Just doing the rear of the car, from the hybrid battery to the back, made a MASSIVE difference! The entire trunk area including the spare tire/cargo area, the rear wheel wells inside the car, and the rear quarter panels took about 3/5th of a box at 100% coverage. I plan on ordering another 36’ sq. ft. today to finish the interior.WILL KEEP THIS REVIEW UPDATED EVERY YEAR TO SEE HOW WELL IT HOLDS UP OVER TIME.

The material molds to fill the contours, and adheres really well. Seams are not noticeable once pressed in with a roller. The sound deadening was a dramatic improvement. My wife and I can actually have a conversation without yelling. My Jeep was extremely noisy with 37 in mud tires, roof rack, and clicks and rattles from swaybar links, spare tire holder, tools and recovery gear etc.. so it will never sound like a Cadillac. I covered every interior surface from door panels, behind dash as far as I could reach, roof over front seats, under seats and center console, and cargo area. Project was fun and performed over a few days.

I bought this material to try to dampen some motor noise in a pellet stove by attaching it inside the appearance panels. It cut very well and adhered easily. Simple enough with scissors and a bit of isopropyl alcohol to clean the steel. It seems to have helped with sound as well, but I'm not really using it for the intended application.

Take your time installing. I got all 3 colors. All 3 have the same quality. For my 2017 outback, I used 2 full boxes for the 5 doors (multuple layers). Make sure you buy a rolling tool to help apply. Overall, I would recommend this product. It's cheaper than dynamat, and works just as well.

Works well and overall I’m happy. Did my door skins with it to cover all the holes. However I think because of the grid pattern embossed on it once you use the tool to smooth it out it probably shrinks to 70mil. Not an issue for the doors but I would have been irritated using for the chassis

Used this as a dampener for my new stainless steel sink. Great adhesion but only time will tell. Update*******it's been 7 months now since I've installed this sink. The material adhesion is excellent and it has done and excellent job in both noise insulation and protecting the underside of the sink from condensation. I would highly recommend if you want to do a similar application. Excellent product!
