There is no tang on the end to eject the center from the tailstock. This one will not come out of the tailstock quill. I had to take the quill completely out and use something to bump the backside of the center to get it to release from the quill. I’d look at something different if you have a lathe.

Sent this one back. It wobbles on my lathe. Tried reseating it several times. All my other dead centers run true.
