These crimped well and the flexible heat-shrink insulation worked great. I used these to wire a 30A, 32V (about 900 watts) solar water heating system They are conducting some serious power and they don't heat up or have any issues.

Was needing 8awg connectors for my boat and was hopeful when I saw this listing but once I got the item they are clearly stamped 12-10 awg and when I tried using on my wire did not even come close to fitting.Stay away from this product if you really need 8 awg connections.

Very thin on materials, does not hold terminal tight, loosens too easily. Worried about any significant current carrying for an extended period of time. I am using them in short bursts of 30 amp peaks.

Ordered these because I needed 8AWG connectors and the fact they were yellow told me they were not 8AWG just by looking at them. The second indication was that they say 10-12 right on the terminal ends. Unfortunately identifying as 8AWG doesn’t cut it. I waited over a week for these only to get a useless crimp terminal. Don’t waste your time with these since they are not as described. I have 10AWG crimp connectors so these are going back and now I have to find some that are correct size and wait even more time. If they sucked then I may be ok with cheap crimps but they are not even close to making my connects.The 1 star is too high but zero stars doesn’t work.

wire size is 8 gauge ( I measured), but it is a tight fit for fine strand wire. I ordered these to repair a battery charger and they worked fine. I now have enough left over to last me about 25 years

Do not but this connector if youreally need one for 8gau wire. Its more like à 10gau....Quality is good otherwise unusable for à 8gau wire..
