This spring fix my Toro self-propelled walk behind lawnmower. I did not realize the spring had broke, and I was having trouble keeping the transmission from engaging install the screen now everything works like brand new.

Simple spring device that seems to be made out of quality steel. I purchased this to replace the broken drive control bar return spring on a Toro lawn mower. Installed easily and just works. The package came with 3 springs so if the one installed eventually wears out/breaks there are extras on-hand. I do not foresee a failure of this product in the near or mid-distant future, but if it does occur, I will update this review accordingly.

I wish these springs were better, but as someone who repairs mowers, I have had to replace 5 of these springs over the last two years. They are almost ALWAYS broken. Toro brand was almost $7 each on Amazon, so I ordered these at $4 or so each. Then I find out my local shop gets them for me even cheaper. I'm sure I will use these within the next year or two at the rate they are always broken.

Does not fit properly, the original spring is shorter. Image shows original spring on top of longer spring that was sent to me. Will try modifying to fit.
