I was getting tired of canister vacs as the good ones are expensive but don't last past 3 years. Not a big fan of bulky upright vacs that are heavy and good luck getting into tight spaces. So, was looking to find something that would work as a regular vac, not too heavy, and reliable. Decided to try this one.Cons: A little loud, not easy to clean the filter, rigid hose, attachments are not designed for regular house cleaningPros: Suction power! Not heavy and easy to lift. Allows to get under sofas and into tight corners. Collects larger objects and pet hair and can collect water if needed. Can be used outdoors and as a wet vac.I gave 5 stars keeping in mind this is designed to be a shop vac, not your regular house vac. However, if they improved the hose and attachments I would only buy this to be my house vac. It works amazing.Update 9/24/23: Almost had it for a year now. Using it 1-2 times per week to clean the house and the cars. Works no issues. Suction power - as new. The hose started to kink in one spot so required duct tape to keep it straight. Filter is now bad and needs replacement but I washed it almost weekly. I still think it's better than canister vacs due to the power it has and ability to get into all tight corners.

This thing is weak. If it makes 5.5 hp it is somewhere else and not in my garage. Luckily I retired my old vac to the shed and I am bringing it out of retirement. This thing hardly sucks up styrofoam crumbs. I have owned 4 or 5 vacs for my shop and all were superior to this weak ninny. SVX2 motor technology means this "SUXS."The hose was plugged. I cleared it and the vac has plenty of suction. Seller contacted me and was very cooperative. I would buy this vac again.

The suction is great, but the hose clogs up really easily. It’s a small diameter hose and small sticks or anything get stuck at the connection. Also the attachment basket on the back falls off just looking at it.

This model is a convenient size and has great suction for cleaning in tight spaces. The cord length is great but the suction house could be a little longer. Maneuvering is just o.k. with plastic rear wheels.

We use this to suck the water out of our AC line every couple of weeks. Does the job. Unit isn't too big - easily stored in our storage room.

Smaller than our 30 year old one but does the job. Very pleased with performance and prompt customer service when we had a quick question.

This is small but so much power. Easy to move around. If your looking for good easy to move powerful vac ... stop looking THIS IS IT!
