Wanted a loner vacuum hose for our small shop vac. (4 Gallon). This twelve-footer fills the bill. Longer than the one included with the Vacuum but not overly long to cause a storage hassle. It appears well made; more importantly, all the attachments fit as they should. Overall, these are all the best solutions I could find for small Shop Vac Brand vacuums.

This fit my SL14-600C (5928211) vacuum, which uses so-called 1 1/2" attachments. The hose came with plenty of different connectors to make it work, and the hose itself matched my previous hose. I ended up buying a 2" rubber pipe coupling (for plumbing) and use that to join the two sections together when I need a long hose (so that I don't have to drag my shopvac around the garage when vacuuming up after getting sawdust everywhere.

Good quality replacement hose, better than the original hose that came with the Shop Vac unit. I needed an adapter in order for my accessories to fit this hose, however, and Shop Vac sent one to me. All is good. I am a satisfied customer.

I like the fact I can vacuum in my vehicles without the vacuum jammed against the vehicle side. Hose is flexible and works as promised .... I find the price high for plastic but it is in keeping and a little less than others I found online or in store.

The end of the hose that the accessories go on is 38 mm on the inside diameter. I bought Shop Vac accessories to use with this hose as it was supposed to be compatible with 1 1/2 " attachments. Unfortunately, the accessories have a 38 mm outside diameter and therefore are the exact same measurement and cannot fit inside the hose opening. The included adapters don't help either (although I was able to use one to jam inside the port for my old Craftsman shop vacuum that has an obsolete-sized hose thus enabling me to attach this particular hose in its place). I am now having difficulty finding any attachments to use with this hose and am now looking for an adapter that is tapered on both ends to allow me to fit it on both the hose and the accessories. Another challenge.
