I tried an after market brand. Little small, would have had to trim the rubber support and make it fit. Returned th3 after market and bought this one. Fits like a glove, perfect. The extra $5 was worth it. Save time and aggravation and the genuine filter.

This is not a thin, paper filter! It's fantastic because just a little moisture will ruin a paper filter that might be a fraction cheaper, but this will last a long time. I always love getting a bulk bargain on regularly ordered products so I can add them to my subscribe and Save and not worry about running out. Essentials thanks to their cost and sturdy construction

THESE ARE GREAT. ORIGINAL SHOP VAC BRAND. PUT A POOL SOCK (RESEARCHED ON YOU TUBE) OVER THESE FOR EXTRA FINE DUST PROTECTION AND IT HELPS THIS FILTER LAST LONGER. THIS FILTER IS FOR DRY PICKUP ONLY. FOR WET PICKUP YOU NEED TO USE THE FOAM FILTER.
