The adhesive wouldn't hold it up. We bought adhesive type caulk and installed it with yhat. It's now uo on the shower wall. We love this adjustable shower head holder! I would buy it again if I needed another one.

I don't know why it says it's a frequently returned item because it works amazing. My wall isn't even totally smooth surface and it still has not failed! Highly recommended!

I bought this for my mom, who can not stand in the shower and almost fell. It said the adhesive was strong, NOT TRUE. Prepared the area cleaning good, drying good for best results, but it fell off within hours, before she had a chance to ever use it. I DO NOT RECOMMEND BUYING. It is a waste of money

I have a small shower so if I need to shave my legs, I either had to turn the shower all the way off (and freeze to death) or let the water run on me and rinse off all the shaving cream before. I got a hose attachment and this mount and now I can keep the shower on, run it at waist height, and aim it at the corner of the shower while I shave. Its perfect and the adhesive is REALLY strong.

Adhesive didn't hold at all, had to put in a couple of screws to keep it attached to the wall. Support rod is weak also showerhead points straight down unless water is on.

Was very surprised when around 2:00 a.m. in the morning I hear a bang in the house and it's because this fell off the wall with the shower head connected. Seem to be a very useful piece until the glue did not hold the part any longer. The glue stuck to the shower stall but not to the product itself. Wasn't a hard fix but nonetheless...

The showers in my place were apparently designed for and by tall people. This shower head holder has fixed the problem. Works best with a handheld showerhead.
