Like other reviewers, I got this to stop a leaking shower. It's a substantial leak—several gallons an hour—and this wonderful valve stopped it completely. It took less than a minute to install. I'm delighted. It's solid stainless steel and very well made. I bought an extra just in case, but I don't expect to need it. Unlike other reviewers, I see this as a permanent fix, not just a stopgap until I can pay a plumber several hundred dollars to do what this does for less than 20. The lever is reassuringly stiff but easy enough to move. In the open position the valve doesn't restrict water flow at all, but closed it doesn't let one drop through. Perfect in every way.

Easy to install, adjusts flow easily, cuts off flow completely when closed, doesn't leak at the connections (or anywhere else), feels super sturdy.I use it to adjust the water pressure in our shower that has one of those single knobs where you turn it to adjust the temperature but you have no control over pressure.

Quality product, solid stainless steel. Works like a charm. No problems installing. Both male and female ends connect perfectly to pipe and showerhead. Turned water on full blast and zero water gets through, but full force when valve is open. My leak problem is fixed!

As described. Heavy in the hand. Comes with a small roll of teflon tape and a washer. I didn't see the washer until after and it hasn't leaked in my testing nor the single use my elderly mother gave it. It's a solid on/off valve turn, nothing sloppy about it . I put in line between a remote shower head and it's supply line. No hesitation to recommend it.

Thought I’d pass along an important feature left out of the description page.With all the great features expressed, any of which make the additional cost of this item worth the price, the main feature that was left out relates to the reason one is considering such an item; to control the flow of the water.This product, over all the rest shown, has the largest orifice in the ball. I haven’t ‘mic’d it, but I’d say the area is near twice that of any of the other products. That means, when in the OPEN, full-flow position, you get the maximum flow one could expect when putting something in-line with the source.Why would anyone buy the lesser products that would restrict your flow rate ???The reason I need such a device is my home builder installed a fixture that only controls cold-to-hot, NOT flow rate. When you turn the single knob, you get full-flow of cold water, and then as you continue to turn counter-clockwise the water gets hotter. That’s OK for filling the bath tub, but, not for taking a shower.As is becoming typical these days, NOBODY provides specifications on products. But, if you observe details in the pictures on the description pages, you will see this product is superior to the others; will worth the extra cost.You may ask why I gave it only 4-stars. That was because they didn’t supply a flat washer with the product, only the thread-tape.The tape alone (besides being the thinnest thread-tape I’ve ever seen) isn’t enough to stop the leak.Also, the flat-washer is necessary if you’re picky (like me) to insure the control lever is positioned in a logical, symmetrical, and, OK, a cosmetically pleasing, position.Thanks for a fine product !!!

I have a 70 year old basement shower. It leaked, so I went to a big home store to try to self fix it. Because of the age of fixture, they recommended a replacement and plumber. This shut-off attaches between the shower head and divierter spout (self fixable even for me). NO LEAK. An unexpected benefit is we don't have to change the temperature settings on the hot/cold faucets. Just open the valve.

It's well-made. No leaks. I put it on the showerhead to stop flow when I don't want and open the flow when I want. It does the job well so far. It was easy to screw the threads.

Unica llave de bola que pude encontrar con bola de acero. Las Coflex nacionales tienen los dentros y la palanca de plástico y después de 2 años empiezan a gotear si los usas en la regadera. Es ideal si quieres ahorrar agua en serio a la hora del baño. La cierras casi totalmente a la hora aplicarte el jabon, el champú o la rasurada. Te puedes ahorrar fácil un 50% en agua. Vale la pena la espera. Dicen que tardan 1 mes pero a mi me llegó en 15 dÃas.

This valve is much better made than I anticipated. 1/4 turn on/off, nice and easy to turn with a nice size valve handle. This goes on the shower head supply pipe, and the shower head goes on the outlet end so you can shut the water off easily to soap up, while maintaining the shower temperature, then turn it back on to rinse and carry on showering. You can save 40-50 % water use per shower. I love this product, every shower should be equipped with one!

La uso para regular el caudal de la regadera para ahorrar gas y por tanto agua, funciona perfectamente, es suave la válvula y precisa. El material está de lujo, acero inoxidable. 100% recomendable, tengo 6 meses usandola y se ve nueva.
