Bought this hoping it would solve a very long-standing problem. My mom has a table with a very slick surface and could not keep a table cloth on top of the table. I found this product and was happy to see that it was made of silicon, not PVC, and it said it was thin. Even though it’s supposed to go under a rug, I took the chance of putting it under my mom‘s table cloth. Works like a dream! No more table cloth slipping and sliding all over by just touching it. Super thin and the mesh is fine so it doesn’t feel bumpy under the lightweight tablecloth. Can’t say enough good things about this product! Also wouldn’t mind buying an additional small one to cut up and use for other situations. I think it could have a ton of other uses! Definitely give this product a try!

Very thin, excellent "holding power" (i.e. coefficient of friction) on both sides, the carpet and the floor. Ordered another set of these right away!

Works great on vinyl floors with wool rugs. Cheaper and non-toxic compared to all other options. Highly recommended

It is somewhat non slip but i brought a bigger size and cut it down to sizes for my door entrance rugs and kitchen rugs they don't move as much but they do still move.

I bought these to hold down construction carpet to protect our hardwood floors during a remodel. I can't use ramboard with tape because the tape rips up my flimsy hardwood floor finish. I bought some cheap outdoor carpeting which slipped and slid all around, so I placed these silicone rug gripper pads underneath. They did the trick for a few weeks, then the silicone wore off them and onto my floors and the rugs started sliding around again. Now I've got silicone residue on my floors that turns them into a skating rink. I've tried washing with bleach, cleaner, and alcohol and nothing will remove the silicone residue that seems to repel water.
