The material is soft and flexible. Definitely waterproof. It’s on the small side and the lip is negligible. It slips around on my hardwood floor. And my cat’s food bowls move around too. Probably wouldn’t purchase again. But not a bad price.

It's so light and flimsy you can see your hand. It's great if you're looking for something like that but I'm not. The cat's hair sticks to it where as my other ones don't have that problem. There are better quality ones for the same price. I really liked the heart part but it's going back.
