This mat came rolled up but rolled out easily and stayed flat. I think that some other purchasers may have had difficulty with the mat not flattening because of humid temps. I received the mat on a cold day and had no issues with it flattening. The mat had no odors. Serves its purpose. I use it for a placemat for my cats. They are getting older and messier when they eat and drink. One cat puts his paws in the water dish and splashes around too. The mat has been containing the mess well enough. Didn't try to clean it yet but I imagine it is easy to hold it under the sink, clean it and let it dry on the drying rack.

I like it! It does come rolled up. Some other similar products, reviewers says they couldn't flatten it, mine flatten with no issue. I'm on the east coast of the US and it's not too hot right now so that may be one of the factors possibly. I got the smallest size and its more than enough room for the food and water bowls. It's thick and seems durable, definitely looks easy to wash with some dish soap and let it dry on the dish rack when needed.

We’re currently using this under our drying rack to catch all the water after we wash our dishes. Our previous cloth mats would get drenched and stain our countertops so I tried this mat instead. It catches the water and is the perfect size for my drying rack. If I don’t wash every now and then it does collect some black spots and brown sludge but it washes off quite easily with a sponge and soap. I’d say, this would work well for your dogs bowls as well. It’s slip resistant and we’re quite happy with this product!

I'm using the mat as a boot tray at my front door. The space I have won't accommodate the usual 27-30" boot trays that are out there, and some of the smaller ones only come in black. So this pet mat was the perfect solution. Not only can it can hold several pairs of my shoes, but it's lightweight, flexible yet sturdy and easy to clean. It lays flat and has the nice raised lip to contain any mess. I'll probably get another for the back door.

Ugh FINALLY I looked so hard for a mat that actually had a deep lip which is crazy because have any of these other manufacturers ever met a dog??? They make a mess!! This mat actually keeps the spills contained and is super easy to clean so I am happy. Decent selection of colors and good quality. The size works for my 50lb husky mix who is perfect but a slob about drinking water. Bigger is better, don’t risk your floors!
