This is a great silicone mat!! Perfect size to put 2 feeding dishes on with room to spare. Raised edge to catch any runaway kibbles or juices. Very easy to clean, just wipe with a damp paper towel or microfiber cloth. It stays in place on smooth surfaces. This will lay flat on most carpets as long as the pile isn’t too thick or high. The weight of the dishes could make this mat uneven. For a more thorough cleaning or Disinfecting, you can wash & rinse it off in the sink. Let it air dry or dry with a towel. This is not a super thick mat, you can easily roll it up to take along for use in a camper, or anywhere you take your pet. This mat is similar in thickness to those silicone baking mats. I love it. This would work for dog dishes too. However, more for small to medium breeds. Larger breeds have dishes too big for this mat. I definitely recommend this mat.

I didn't expect this to fully contain my cat's wet food mess but for the most part it stays on the mat. It makes cleaning so much easier cause I can just pick up the mat & shake it off, maybe give it a quick rinse, instead of having to sweep or vaccuum. Also, it's cute.

I was looking for a mat to use for my cat’s water fountain and although it fits perfectly, water slides right off of it because the edges are so short. It’s kind of hard to clean because of how floppy it is, and it’s hard to dry because of its material. Water just slides and smears on it, it doesn’t really dry off until several swipes later. It’s alright, but I wish it was thicker and had thicker edges to it.
