It’s very easy to clean and the size fits two bowls. I keep it under my cats bowls and I do a quick rinse when it’s too dirty. My cats are messy eaters so it keeps the food in one area so I can just pick it up and throw out the old food.

I absolutely love these food mats. I ordered two for both my dogs. I have a puppy that’s why you see her bowls different than my other dog. Once she’s a bit taller then I’ll put her stand n dishes like her sisters. We have them already just out away. Anyways these mats are very nice, easy to clean, have a great design on them. I went with pink. When received they were well packaged. I like how they lay flat on the ground. These are very durable and my dogs aren’t messy eaters so I don’t need to clean them often. I do wash them weekly either way just so they remain clean. If I ever get more dogs (probably not) I will continue getting these.

My cat likes to put her paw in the water and splash or put toys in her water and then drag it out splashing water everywhere. This is a great option to reduce or eliminate the water from hitting my floor! Also she manages to get her dry food all over the floor in the water spots which makes for a gross mess. This has been working great to keep the water and food contained to the mat. Great value too!

The silicone is a decently thick mat, which has a good weight to it to keep it on the floor. The rimmed edge and ridges help to contain spilled water and food. Puppy has been working hard at dragging his food mat around. Pictured here with small (3/4 cup) bowls.

I just wanted something small to put under my cats fountain and food bowl. She is kind of messy and this mat has worked pretty well so far!
