This smooth and precise silicone tube provided the basis for my custom fabrication of suspension-spring boots on a cheap and broken record turntable that i picked up cheap at auction. The small section of tube (yeah, cut from a meter-long purchase) with a matching Outside-diameter flat silicone washer at the bottom and a matching Inside-diameter flat silicone washer for the top closure—all assembled with Silicone RTV . I think it is going to work; not so sure about the rest of the turntable but it is a fun project and cheap entry into the world of low-cost vinyl spinners’ inner workings. I may seek a patent or Trademark® This tubing made sense even for this weird little project. Think® Be creative with your stuff. Life is Great!

Reviewing: Silicone Tubing,1/2" ID x 3/4" OD Pure Silicon Tube High Temp Silicone Hose [for Home Brewing Wine Making, Beer Line, Aquarium]-10 ft Length/Clear I use this hose for racking batches of mead (transferring the mead to a clean carboy and leaving the sediment in the old carboy). It works perfectly. It is very flexible, so it's easy to manually kink to stop the flow, but it springs right back when released. It's also very easy to clean.

This 3.3-foot silicone tube looks fine and seems to be of good quality. Its inside diameter is 1 inch; its outside diameter is 1.25 inches. Silicone is flexible, durable, can withstand extreme temperatures, and is chemical resistant, which makes this tube versatile: it can be used with water or gasoline. I have a few sump pumps, and this tube comes in handy.This tube came folded in a small bag and looked twisted and deformed. Leaving it out for only one day allows it to fully regain its tubular shape.Although it will take time to assess how reliable and durable this silicone tube is, I cannot see any reason why it would not be. If it does not perform as expected, I’ll revise my review to reflect that. For now, it works well, and I recommend it.

I got this to use for cleaning my aquarium. I wanted an extra hose for my vacuum and this works great. It is nice quality and a good size that makes cleaning my aquarium a breeze.

The 3.3 feet of 1" tubing I received measures at 1" ID x 1.25" OD x 39.75" inches long.I use this silicone tubing for my aquarium pumps and filters. It works great for removing vibration from pumps/filters.This tubing is very flexible, but you don't want to create any sharp corners, else it might kink. For sharp turns, I use 90 degree hose barbs or 45 degree pvc fittings, with added hose barbs.This tubing can handle low pressure, but I wouldn't trust it with high pressure pumps, else it's going to swell up, like a balloon. Use braid reinforced tubing for high pressure. Double up on the hose clamps, regardless.Overall, I'm very happy with this tubing. You just have to understand its limitations, and plan accordingly.

This is high quality flexible silicone tubing and this size is the perfect for many uses, among which is a handy homemade filler for Pilot Varsity pens. If you came here looking for the materials to make a pen filler, this is the tubing that works! Add some silicone stoppers, and you are good to go. This is exactly what I was looking for, and I'm thrilled with the balance of firmness and softness (because you have to squeeze it to inject the ink into the pen). This seems like very good quality and good for many uses. I measured it as ID: 9.5 mm OD: 12.5mm (hand measurement, not precise, but matches closely with the inch measures given).

I had a length of 1/2 inch tubing that I've used for some type with a water pump and I was never really satisfied with it because the tubing was too stuff and that would create spring action as it tried to return to its original form and made it difficult to ensure tight pump seals. So I was looking for a truly flexible tubing without stiffness that would attach and remain relaxed on the pump connections. This tubing fits perfectly, lies flat and doesn't try to coil itself back up. I am very satisfied with this order. The only thing that could make it better is if the tubing was shipped in resealable packaging so that you can readily set aside the amount that you don't use for future purposes.

I had a length of 1/2 inch tubing that I've used for some type with a water pump and I was never really satisfied with it because the tubing was too stuff and that would create spring action as it tried to return to its original form and made it difficult to ensure tight pump seals. So I was looking for a truly flexible tubing without stiffness that would attach and remain relaxed on the pump connections. This tubing fits perfectly, lies flat and doesn't try to coil itself back up. I am very satisfied with this order. The only thing that could make it better is if the tubing was shipped in resealable packaging so that you can readily set aside the amount that you don't use for future purposes.
