The Simer 4075SS-01 boost pump caught my attention because it was compact and the its performance fit my requirements. I chose to install the pump after my water filter system as to protect the pump small debris, and put check valves before and after the pump to keep the flow going in one direction. Doing this also keeps from pump full with water during maintenance work with filter changes, and water softener servicing. What I observed with the water pressure regulated to 40 psi, the pump will maintain a steady output of 80 psi. Noise level is quiet, like a soft humming sound (heard from upstairs), and the pump runs smooth, so it never vibrates at all to warrant using flex lines as other installs have recommended. I think with the check valves I placed accordingly there is a 7-10 second delay before the pump starts up. I have the pump mounted on two L-brackets attached to the wall that keeps the pump 12-inches off the floor, its small size freed up space in my small utility closes. The monitor panel is easy to read, there are no numbered fault codes to decipher, it simply tells you power on, pump on, failure, and reset. The power cord with 3-prong plug makes the Simer boost pump plug & play. Overall I am happy with my purchase. Highly recommended.

So far works extremely well. Low noise level. Truly excellent pressure. I had to install reducer to get pressure from 100 psi to 60 psi in our mountain home. We have private well and after installing all filters the water pressure was week on second floor. Got cheaper pump and the noise was unbelievable : it sounded like someone would drill into the wall. You need pressure reducer on outflow for sure possibly intake.I purchased adaptor for pex tubing x2, pressure gauge , and pressure reducer.Plugs into 110V recepticle.Easy install for an average handyman.Very satisfied. The plate to fix it to support is rather flimsy and came bend on arrival. Something should be fixed considered that this is not a cheap unit.

This pump really helped the water pressure issue, but...when I first installed, the pump would not stop after starting. I tracked the issue to the RO unit under the kitchen sink. The little bit of waste flow and the bladder tank on the RO was enough to keep the flow switch from seeing "no flow" and shutting off. So I added a pressure regulating valve and pump pressure gauge. Set the reg valve to 65 psi and works great. FYI: the pump shuts off at about 90 psi, way to high, so a pressure regulating valve will protect your dishwasher, ice make, etc.

It boosted my pressure from 35 to 75psi. Easy install, be sure to put plenty of teflon on the 1” fittings. We put the pump under the house on one end. You can hear the hum of it kicking on from the opposite end of our home. It is noisy.I can’t speak on the build quality since I have only had it in for a week.

Just hooked up my pressure booster pump, this is such a huge difference. I used it to test the showers and faucets. The pressure is unbelievable. This is well worth it. Once the pressure fills up, the pumps cuts off at 55psi. I was able to have a long hot shower to test the system and it never dropped pressure. I would definitely recommend this product.****UPDATE*** I ordered this in March 2022. It’s not October 2022 my booster pump stopped sending pressure into the house. I went to check and found out that the pressure gauge was at 5 and noticed all the water leaking out. I turned off the water and inspected the pump thinking it was a seal. Found out the plug (drain plug probably) underneath the housing was no longer screwed in, it was just hanging; I took it out and tried to screw it back in. The threads had somehow worn themselves out and the plug was now just a push in. So I switched the top plug with the bottom and it screwed in. Now I have to call the company to replace the top plug and probably get a few to keep on hand. The threads on the plugs are very minimal making to only about three turns by wrench and it stops. Pressure pump is now working great again. So beware of the failing plugs. Not sure if my water was that bad that it corroded the plug or if I had a faulty plug that was just wearing away.

This pump worked great initially to increase our house water pressure, and I was really pleased with its performance. However, after 2 years of use, the pump became incredibly loud to the point where we had to disconnect it due to the noise.I contacted Simer customer support, as the product comes with a 3-year warranty. Unfortunately, I was given the runaround and told to contact the seller for a warranty replacement instead. Now, I'm in the process of reaching out to the seller to see if they will assist with a warranty return or exchange.

Looked at the $100 water pressure pumps but decided on this significantly more expensive pump. Glad I did. Noise was a concern, this is a relatively quiet pump compared to others I have heard. It is a significant pump, so I expect many years of service without issues.Suggestion: add a pressure gauge and ability to set pressure (defaults to 40 psi). I don't need 40 psi, 25 psi works fine for my application. Installed a separate gauge to control psi but you would think (at least I do), the pump would have that ability.

I’m on a 10 home community well. My initial pressure was 25psi, which made showers pretty unenjoyable. This pump boosted my pressure up to 65 psi and showers are now amazing! I also installed a pressure regulator just in case I get a pressure spike while boosting, I set it to 65 psi. One thing to take note of is must be mounted on a horizontal surface. I initially mounted it vertically on a wall and the pump wouldn’t shut off. I then went to the troubleshooting section of the manual and it said it must be mounted horizontal. Would have been nice if the manual said that in the instructions which I throughly read. You normally go to the troubleshooting section only if you have an issue. Other than that I’m very happy. I will be super happy if I get a lot of years out of it, time will tell.
