I initially bought a single 18 watt pump for 30$ elsewhere. It was nice, not too loud, plenty of air flow. Then I bought this pack. These pumps are louder, but you get what you pay for, right? Nah, turns out these cheaper pumps run true 18 watts and output more air. That other pump? 10 watt powerdraw.If these last, these are absolutely solid. Powercord is beefier too.

Like the title mentions this product is slightly loud, but other than that this product is just like the name brand one. Mine runs great. There is one issue I stumbled across. I wanted a different size air inlet. I could not find anywhere online the size air inlet I wanted. I purchased the name brand different size inlet, but the threads were different vs this prodcuts threads. So just some information to consider. Not sure if anyone else would be wanting to do what I was, but other than that its a nice efficent product.

Strong and great quality build. Seems durable and had a higher actual output than other brands that claimed to have the same level of output per wattage. The sound level is not as bad as others relative to the output. Works great supplying a small fish room with around a dozen outlets.

Excellent pump and pushes a LOT of air BUT it is VERY loud! It is fairly heavy and looks to be well made which is a plus. It does get pretty warm so trust me, those cooling fins are not just for looks! Definitely don't enclose it in a cabinet, it will need airflow to cool it down. The heat I can understand as when you compress air, it gets hot so that's not an unexpected thing. I would've given it 5 stars if not for the noise level.

it was missing the larger connecting hose to connect pump to manifold..I had to drive to home depot to buy extra hose for it..another several bucks..it is a very strong and powerful pump...but even with it in my basement suspended in the air I can hear it upstairs in the main part of the house...its loud.
