My rulebook called for this to be installed. I didn't know it existed until I saw it in the rulebook. Even if it was only a suggestion, I still would have installed it. It's a fantastic solution to a dangerous problem. Not super difficult to install, either.Luckily I didn't have to use it on my last high-side. My leg took the impact and shattered at the hip. Never lost consciousness and had no other pain. I didn't even let them cut the suit.
