I bought this because I have my Siruis hooked up to my motorcycle and I do a LOT of riding.I am the type of rider who takes off not knowing where I am going, only when I need to be home, I am constantly in search of that road I have never been down so I never know where I will end up, and it was a real pain trying to find clear stations that would last for a few hundred miles, let alone the whole day.I thought I would give this a try and installed it before a run to DC and I was very disappointed it did not work.I have been working with, and hooking up electronics for over 40 years, so I checked and rechecked ever thing I could think of, and the only thing I could not check was the plug in the cradle that the receiver was in so I put the bike back together and saved it for another time, when I had more time and a different cradle.Well that time came about a month later.I hooked up the new cradle, all the wires turned the FM transmitter off in the receiver and NOTHING..no music just static and a big sad face, checked all my connections again and they were good, but I still had nothing.. I just didn't get it, from what I understood, once this was hooked up it would broadcast the music on all channels, why wasn't it working??? so disappointed started to take it apart again, then a little light bulb clicked that said "try this", so I went to the known station in my area that has full power and a good clean signal 93.7, I went back into the menu on the Siruis receiver and turned the FM transmitter ON again and set the transmitter station to 93.7.With the radio playing some forgotten song( it was actually playing golden earing's radar love)I powered up the Sirius unit and Viola!! music!! right from the receiver and no more golden earing.I then re-hooked up the original cradle that is mounted to the bike and viola, music!Big smiles came after that, it works, and it works great..So, if you are under the impression that I was, that this unit works across the whole frequency band.it does not. what it does do, is put a good clean signal to the frequency you choose in the receiver setup.I have now set mine to my favorite local radio stations frequency, so when I want to listen to the local station I simply turn off my Sirius unit and listen, no more having to change the station, and that is really handy or if I want to listen to satellite, i just power it on and it overpowers all stations broadcasting on that frequency, and gives you a good, clean sound...I now really like this unit, and it is well worth getting, you will not be disappointed once it is correctly set up.

I have had satellite radio since XM was a separate company in all my vehicles so when I purchased a used car without it I had to get it. I picked this specific unit because the options where just like factory radio options and I didn't have mess with hard wiring the power. This unit has a 12v power connector for plug and play for power and for the OPTIONAL FM receiver and antenna all in one...I initially used the Bluetooth connection with zero problems but I had added an aftermarket Android play head unit and this worked great but my aftermarket head unit didn't like multitasking with my phone...so purchased the OPTIONAL FM connector that was plug and play now it works perfectly and my aftermarket head unit can be used for just my cellphone features....would buy this again and again if future vehicles didn't have satellite radio...economical solution that works on the cheap...I ran the antenna to the front roof via driver side door the cable is invisible. I used some adhesive in addition to the strong magnetic because I don't intend on removing the unit or antenna great signal on roof of Sedan

I used this adapter to install a Sirius XM Roady in a Tesla Model Y and it worked great. I was able to mount the Roady in the center console under the sliding door to make it easy to access for changing channels. When the Roady is powered on there is no bleed from the FM channels and when the Roady is powered off the FM radio works as expected. The FM receiver for the model Y is at the rear of the vehicle on the rear lift gate next to the backup camera so it takes some effort to route the cables for the XM antenna and adapter. If you are looking to do this then these are the parts I used for a successful install:https://www.amazon.com/dp/B075SSKCDY?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_detailshttps://www.amazon.com/dp/B0C4T1GK5X?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_detailshttps://www.amazon.com/dp/B08FR6PTMY?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_detailsI needed 3 of the audio cables connected together to reach the back of the car (18 feet) so I purchased 2 of the 2-packs and had 1 extra when done. I used the 12V outlet in the center console for power.

I had this installed by a stereo shop into my older Lexus which had no Sirius/Xm option within the radio. I coupled this with a Roady radio and Voila, Ihave Sirius/Xm over my radio speakers. The sound is excellent and there is no interference with local fm channels, even when you travel. You can still use your fm radio as normal, but you must return it to the designated fm channel to hear your Sirius/Xm. You can use your one Roady radio in several cars, each equipped with this accessory, and save hundreds on multiple subscriptions.
