Skated for years. I have 15 different brands of bearings currently and I've skated at least 22 brands, including Favnir, Kwik, Qube, Oust, Bones, Moto, Roll Line, Bronson, and others. I've skated many many ceramic bearings. These are actually good! They don't roll under load as well as Bronson Raw or Kwik Nitride coated ceramics. However, they are pretty close and 1/3rd or less of the cost. They are real ceramic bearings and have the superior (for quads) 608 BSB shields. Those are superior because they have one fixed metal shield and one open side. You don't have to worry about ruining the bearing with too much drag because the vinyl side shield bent some tiny imperceptible amount and now drags down your whole skate. I absolutely hate 608RS bearings because of the drag from the side shields (and it always happens eventually to the point I have to buy spare shields and other hassles with them - they SUCK for quads). The fixed metal shields don't have that problem, but the 608ZZ (fully shielded) also have problems because they are difficult to clean, even with acetone. So, if you are a skater on a budget you can't even get close to a deal as good as this one. If you use them with fidget spinners, do not oil them. If you use them with skates, you MUST oil them or they will die and fail within hours of use. I recommend the lightest synthetic oil you can find such as Oust MetOl or Uncle Charlies Magic oil. I do not recommend Bones Speed Creme. It's too heavy for roller skating, even though the knuckleheads sell it for that.2021 July Update: These bearings still perform well and roll out smooth. The shields have proven more durable than other 608BSB or 608ZZ designs I have rolled. They work with many oil weights and stay pretty clean internally. I got them extremely wet (submursed) a couple of times and where steel bearings have always been ruined, these were fine. They just needed a bit more lubricant. They have better real-world water performance than they old Seba Storm bearings.

6 out of the 16 bearings did not spin freely upon arrival and after lubrication and use for a few minutes they sound worse.. I'm not sure if I just received a bad batch or not, but I cannot recommend them at this time.

I have got multiple sets of these. Not bad for the price. I have never owned any higher priced ones($80-$120) to compare. I do oil them as well

I bought it for my son,for daily practice purpose..Bearings are with 6 black ceramic balls and spins quite smoothly when compare to steel ball bearings.I found this is a value for money product.
