These skewers for kabobs are very sturdy and easy to use. They came packaged in a nice cloth storage bag. They are wide enough that the food doesn’t swivel when you turn them over. They’re a great value for the price. We used them 3 times the first week we had them. Easy cleanup in the kitchen. Cook vegetables and meat for a complete meal.

We got a new gas grill this summer and I had lots of chicken and veggies on hand but no skewers other than wooden ones. I decided to get metal ones and am so happy with these. They hold A LOT and are super sturdy no matter how much you load them up with meat or veggies. I like to do all meat and all veggies on mine to get the cooking time the same, but you could easily mix and match. They're supper easy to clean and go right in the top rack of the dishwasher. The bag they come with makes storage a breeze. No more clanging around in the kitchen drawer. Just one bag to keep them organized.

They’re sturdy and hold up well even with heavier cuts of meat and vegetables. Unlike wooden skewers, there’s no need to soak them beforehand, which saves a lot of prep time. I had aluminum skewers before but they were degrading and difficult to wash. These stainless steel skewers are the best. The longer length means I can leave the handles outside of the bbq when I lay the food on the hot grill. The handles stay cook and I can just use my fingers to rotate them. The flat "blade" means the food items stay in place and don't "twirl" around the skewer when I am trying to rotate them. They come in a nice draw-string bag for easy transport or just storing in the drawer. Each skewer comes with a little plastic tip to protect you from the points. Although I have never had any issue getting the skewers to puncture the food items, I have never punctured my fingers... so I tossed the tips. Easy to clean - just throw them in the dishwasher. If you are opposed to staining on your stainless steel, simply scrub them with a scotch-bright pad and they look as good as new.

The 17" is the perfect size for our two burner gas Weber Grill. We can get the meaty end of the skewer on the hottest part of the grill whilst the little round handle can stick outside the lid. They are thin enough to have the lid close without any large gaps, and sturdy enough to be heavily bogged down by veg and proteins. The squiggly bit is a natural stopping point when loading the skewers up. We've found them easy to turn with tongs as well as just a quick rotation using your fingers. The circular ends help keep the heat down ( but do use caution ) and allows you to keep track of what side your skewer is cooking on. We tossed the little rubbery plasticy tips that came with them as the skewer ends are not THAT sharp where you'd accidentally stab yourself. The bag that they come in is an excellent addition keeping everything together and clean. We got the option with the two 12" skewers as well, and those are working great on our little Weber Smokey Joe charcoal grill. Give these a shot. Wish I had purchased them sooner!
