I made a whole chicken in a slow cooker and with this spoon I was able to scoop the meat and the bones out and leave the broth, which I like to save and put in containers. This tool made it very quick and easy to separate. I like the material, which is not a cheap wire like strainer material, but it’s heavy duty. The stick part isn’t that long, it’s like a normal size, which works for my purposes, but if you need it to go really deep for frying, I would just be careful. It is dishwasher safe and washed perfectly.

When I was looking for a spider I was thinking that I would just end up buying a spider with a wire metal strainer with the wooden handle. But this one is so cool I had to get it and I am so glad I did. Not only does this spider work great when I was deep frying but also is super well made and is clearly a nice product. This would be a great gift for any cooking friends. I would buy this for myself again and get it as a gift. Awesome product!
