I was so prepared to love this case. Very lightweight, seems sturdy, nice color. Only problem is IT'S TOO SHORT FOR A FLUTE. I have a student-quality Gemeinhardt (very very common instrument!) and the slot for the main body joint is a full half inch shorter than the instrument. The head joint fits fine, the foot joint is a bit of a squeeze, neither of these makes up for the fact that THE FLUTE CASE IS TOO SHORT FOR A FLUTE.
