It is difficult to find a maul handle that fits a variety of maul heads. This one is well designed for that. It is very well bulked up where the maul head fits against the top of the handle which will make it very durable.

Looks like a well-made handle, has the extra thick portion right around the head. Allowed me to repair my sledge.

There is a package of the correct type of epoxy that comes with the handle, but unless the boss fits tightly, you'll almost certainly need more.

I bought this handle for a heavy maul that is used for splitting firewood. The strength of the handle is fine, but there are some oddities with this system. First of all, the amount of epoxy sent for affixing the handle to the steel head is about one eighth of what is needed. I had to order additional bottles of epoxy from another company. Secondly, the fit of the handle did not match the provided directions. In the end I had to cut about 1 inch off the top end of the handle as it stuck out of the top of the head. It seems to be usable. Time will tell. Just count on buying more epoxy if you are using it for a maul. Ames sells an epoxy for striking tools.

I really like the grip at the end of the handle versus being smooth along the entire length. Quality product!

The epoxy pouch had opened prior to arrival and had gotten all over handle. Handle was not in a package. Handle was different than the one pictured when I ordered.I used my own epoxy and handle worked as expected. Would have given a 5 star rating if not for details mentioned. Over priced...

Replaced a 12 lbs sledge with this handle. Works and feels great swinging it.
