Uch better than plastic or thin wire shelves.

Lo use para dividir un estante en la cocina, pase un poco de trabajo al ponerlo, pero cumple su funcion.

I've been looking for a way to organize my purses and found theses shelves. They were easy to install and they got the job done. It was really quick as well.

I slipped these in the bathroom closet to give a little more room for lighter items like bandaids, cold medicine. Easy to install but not sure I would trust them with really heavy items.

These shelves are useful , exepecially if you have a storage section with unusal mesurements. You can configure them to customize the dimensions you want for storage

Highly functional, with a good weight capacity, very sturdy, great storage concept, highly recommend.

The construction of these shelves is excellent. However, the method of hanging has definite drawbacks. First, the adhesive will likely eventually damage a wood or drywall surface to which it is attached, especially if the shelf is overloaded and falls. Second, the shelves cannot be expanded to their full length without bowing/sagging in the middle since there is no support along the back edge of the shelf (just the sides). Because it's adhesive and not screws installation is very quick but not as secure as screws. Is working well so far for a linen closet at ~50% extension, but sagged badly when tried in a pantry at ~80% extension and loaded with food products.

These extendable shelves are definitely sturdy in build, but there are some limitations to their use. When extended all the way (to 31.5â€), the middle starts to become unstable and will sag down. The shelf still held when I placed relatively light items on it, but after noting the increasing strain and sag after adding books one by one, I wouldn’t feel confident it would hold the listed 40lbs max weight capacity. To maintain the strength of the shelf, I wouldn’t extend it beyond ~25†when approaching this weight limit. Since needed the full extended length, I added a rectangular metal bracket underneath the center to add stability to the two sides, so with some additional tinkering, it seems the only thing limiting the weight capacity is the adhesive. The adhesive mounting is surprisingly strong, however, and the shelf held even with a stack of books weighing ~50lbs. Rather than have the shelves in a fixed position, I decided I wanted more adjustability, so I ended up using shelf pins instead. If they didn’t have stability issues when extended, or if there were different listed weight capacities for each interval of extension indicating this possible issue, I would say these are great solid shelves, but at ~$40 for two shelves, I would recommend considering the shelf length you’ll need before purchasing.
