Having recently retired, I wanted to get back into riding my 1987 Cannondale SR600, which has patiently been waiting for me for decades. I replaced the tires, inflated them, and went to use my old presta tire gauge, only to find out that it was no longer accurate. I ordered a new tire gauge, which will not be delivered for a few days, saw these adapters that had next day delivery, and ordered them.They worked perfectly with the small 12 volt air compressor that I keep in my car, allowing me to quickly and accurately set the pressure. I now keep one with the air compressor, and one in my small, under seat tool pouch in case I ever have the need for a presta to schrader adapter will out riding. They are small and very light weight, and are machined from a brass alloy.Well worth the ~$2 investment

These confused me at first, where was I supposed to screw them on? You screw these on to your presta valve, then you can attach a Schrader pump to it. I carry one of these in my saddle bag all the time! Very cheap but works very well.

These worked perfectly. I have included a picture of this product (check marks) with another version (x mark) of Presta Schrader adapter to show the difference in some of these adapters.I install these, fill the tires, then remove them. The dual pack allows for a backup or you could permanently mount them to your valves, if desired.At one point, I had 2 of these adapters (purchased from different places). I had one adapter that worked well and I had one that I could never get to work. I lost the one that worked so I was forced to try and modify the one which didn't work. This is why you can see a portion of the top cut off, attempting to make it shorter so it might fit and allow the Schrader connection to fill the tire. Alas, it was not successful (may be just a bit too long still). Thus, I purchased these and they worked the first time. I checked both of them on both tires and had no issues.Very happy with this purchase. Will purchase again once I lose both of these.

These adapters are simply FIRST RATE! Precision machined out of fine brass and fitted with real 'O' rings.Why would anyone buy cheap aluminum adapters with crappy tolerances, and cut rubber washers at any price? C'mon people, get real!I do not leave these adapters on my expensive E Mtn Bike. My Schwalbe Presta valves are well protected by their own caps and are of made of quality materials. These Slime adapters are a perfect fit for them. I top up my tires every couple of hundred miles, at home, using a Milwaukee M12 Compact inflator with automatic cutoff. This is an excellent inflator and I use it for my electric cars (the ONLY maintenance they require) as well as my bike.The Milwaukee inflator has a threaded, brass, schrader connector and spins onto the Slime adapter easily and securely. Putting the slime adapter on my Presta valves takes all of 30 seconds and I know my connection is clean and tight. I do take the precaution of wetting the 'O' ring with saliva before slipping it onto my Presta valve. FYI human saliva (that's spit, in plain language) is an excellent rubber lubricant, wetting agent and solvent. Squeamish? Well, keep your slime adapters clean, and in a protective container. They should last you a lifetime and your expensive Presta valved tubes should serve you for many tire changes.The best is often the least expensive and hey, they're less than $7/pr on Amazon. Or, travel down to REI or Walmart, but be sure to get the machined brass ones and please, DON'T ride around with your Presta valves open and the adapters attached. That's just asking for trouble. If you absolutely MUST perform inflation on the road, take one of the Slime adapters along in your wallet and treat it like a fine tool. Oh yes, the plastic adapter that comes with the Milwaukee Inflator is junk so, toss it out!

I doubt that the coatings would hold up very well to full time use, but it’s fine as an adapter.

Hooked up my dewalt 18v inflator and pumped up my 700 x 26c tires up to 110 psi with no issues.

Llevo uno conmigo en el diario y otro lo guardo en casa por si se llega a perder. Es de fácil instalación y entra bien el aire al usarse.
