Slip 2000 EWL is the best gun lube on the market . Its very long lasting, & is non chemical smelling. It builds up layers of water proof coatings on everything over time . This is a great all in one product for cleaning and protecting gun parts and slides. I also put this product on my Ar 15 parts, shot guns and knife blades and it really performs and lasts a long time . There is a lot of Science in this product line and everything they make is great . It also doesn't contain Silicone , graphite or other harsh common additives . Its best to apply a thin coat and let soak in for at least 10 mins and wipe everything down with a microfiber cloth . You don't need to use a lot of this product . It repels water in harsh weather conditions and provides the ultimate in protection . On second cleaning the pores in the gun metal will fill in with additional Lubricant and a new protective barrier will be formed making future cleanings much easier and faster. After a few applications all you need to do is wipe it down and run a bore snake through the barrel and your back in business . Don't worry about frog lube, and other snake oils this is awesome and more affordable and was made to meet the specs and requirements of the USMC who has been using slip 2000 products for years now with unmatched results. This product will not freeze up on you either , even in sub zero -50 temps . Both Vtac Rand CLP and Fire Clean will freeze up just around 0. The Slip 2000 extreme weapons grease needle applicator is great to use on your pistols slide rails and is 5x long lasting and doesn't burn off and stays in place . Slip 2000 products also do not attract sand dust and dirt onto your firearm . One extra tip is to keep the red plug inserted in the top of the bottle and poke a nice size hole with safety pin to prevent too much product from coming out. This is the best product line on the market . I really suggest this product over the basic slip 2000 gun lube the extreme works great and keeps your guns protected ,lubed , and running and looking great . You will use this product line for the rest of your life and your firearms and knife blades will be protected from everything . Slip 2000 has the best product line for gun care on the market .... You will be amazed with the results

This is my new gun oil, period. It says on and doesn't collect dirt or turn to grease. This is even better than weapons shields. The price of this oil vs how much a firearm cost and Your life on the line ITS WORTH EVERY PENNY for this OIL. Will buy biggger bottle next time so it will last my life time. This is a great value. A little goes a long way and it keeps my firarms running smooth as butter. I love all of the fact that it is nontoxic and has no oder. Honestly the best perk list I have ever seen as well. The fact that it withstands extreme cold is a must living in the Northwest but it also withstand extreme heat. This product honestly made cleaning my firearms a lot easier as well. I didn't have to put any elbow grease into it. Just a light scrub and it wipes all the grime away. Honestly feel like it's brand new after a cleaning with this stuff and it keeps things functioning like they should without skipping a beat. Let my buddy use some in his AR on our last trip and he is hooked on it now too. Keep up the good work don't change a thing because I'll be back for more.

I was told that this is the best CLP you can use. It does not clog up, it does not thicken when in cold temperatures.

I've recently used Slip 2000 EWL lube for my AR for the past year or more. I definitely recommend it because it doesn't go dry like Safariland CLP tends to do. I used CLP for several years but hated how it dries out on the BCG and barrel over time. Slip 2000 EWL is a superior lubricant and doesn't dry out. It also protects the gun better under extreme heat and heavy use. This is what most Navy SEALS now prefer.

First of all, I need to mention that I purchased a pack of two needle-tip dispenser bottles [https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00UG08QDC/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1] specifically to hold 0.7 ounces of this EWP to carry in my homemade cleaning kit. IMO, it is a waste of money to buy a small amount of a product just because it comes in a 0.5 oz. tube or bottle with a needle-tip dispenser on it when you can buy a 4 oz. bottle like this and use it to refill a dispenser bought separately several times over.Each empty bottle holds 0.7 oz. and I put the Slip EWL in one and a mixture of Tetra Grease and Tetra Oil in the other. I love Tetra products and they are the benchmark against which I test other brands. I got this EWL based on the glowing reviews from 388 users (avg. 4.8 w/ 88% rating it 5 stars and 10% rating it 4 stars). Once I got past the strange bottle it came in (it's a large, dark polyurethane bottle which made me think the EWL gave it that color). However, when I poured t into my dispenser bottle, I was relieved to see that it was a clear, pale-brown liquid.This stuff rocks!At first, I used too much of it because of the "Run it wet" mantra that I hear other AR users frequently recite. I found that out from a certified gunsmith (whose AR-15 maintenance class I took) who told me that I should only use a drop in each of six key spots with a thin line along the bottom of the bolt carrier. He believes that less is more because oils and lubes tend to collect dust.What I like about the EWL is how it stays in place. I lubricated my AR with it and fired off 50 rounds before inspecting the BCG. It looked the same as it did right after cleaning and lubricating it. I could not tell that the rifle had been used at all.Slip EWL has a low viscosity which enables it to flow into hard to reach places like springs and levers but unlike low viscosity oils, it does not drain away and acts more like a lube.This bottle is going to last me a very long time.

Best part of this product is it's not petroleum based, so no worries if you get it on your skin. It only takes a very little bit to lubricate for a long time. Expensive at first, but worth it once you see its superiority to other oils.
