Had an existing spout that could no longer be used when redoing our shower and tub. This spout matched the style of old unit and color match was perfect for our Pfister set we already owned. Installed and no issues with flow or diverter valve others have said and no leaks. See photo of running after 10 minutes on full flow. As with any device such as this the devil is in the details of install. Clean end of pipe so no sharp edges to nic rubber seal. Also make sure to have pipe nice and clean. I did this with some 600 grit wet sandpaper I had. I also put a small dab of lubricant on o-ring to ensure smooth install and a good seal. So far looks and works great. Can't wait to take a bath in my new tub/shower tomorrow.

Replaced spot with same dimensions and this items specs match what I need.The spout sprays water everywhere and water starts coming out of the shower head as well with the diverter disengaged. Tried to tighten or loosen the screw and fully remove and reinstall the spout with no change in this defect/issue.Visual inspection of this item and the one it is replacing appear identical in design with the exception of the diverter prongs in the spout being slightly longer in this item.Recommend not destroying the packaging like I did making a return through Amazon difficult at best. Possible I had a defective spout shipped to me but be aware this item may not work for you.Update: Amazon was kind enough to assist with my return issues and I got a refund for this item. I did not opt for a replacement so I'm afraid I cannot say weather or not this was a one-off defective item or an issue with the design.

My husband replaced our corroded spout with this one. It was a little difficult to install and he needed to replace something in the wall as well. But he's a plumber and had the fittings. Once installed it looks good and matches the rest of the set.

So inside the spout at the end the water comes out, there is a rubber gasket that reduces the diameter of the water pipe right where the diverter is. This alone causes too much back pressure and pushes some water out the shower head when the diverter is down. Why is it there? Makes no sense! So I shoved a screwdriver down the spout and scraped the reducing rubber part and now water flows correctly. How they haven’t found this fatal flaw with so many comments describing this issue is beyond me. 2 stars cause in the end, I have a nice looking spout that matches the existing finish of the valve and shower head, but it took a lot of work to get it to function properly.

Don't care for how the water comes out of the spigot almost like a spray nozzle, created back pressure from restrictions in design so when I changed the position of the diverter from shower to bath the water kept coming out the shower head. Disassembled product to see if it was internal but couldn't rectify the issue.
