In the plastic world we live in, it's nice to see something made out of metal. I used these to make a custom attachment for a professional video camera. Comes with two thumb nuts so you can snug up to whatever you're trying to mount plus tighten it down onto the shoe. Would definitely buy again for my next project.

This fits the Cannon EOS shoe mount great. One thing I didn't think of is that you can't use your onboard flash with this mounted. It seems to make the camera think it has a light mounted and it changed the timing and the light setting in my camera. I er all it's a great mount, a great price and it works for what I intend to use it for. It lets me take a video an pictures at the same time. I use it for my daughter's softball games and it works great.
