Such a tool was definitely not around when we were kids. We had the typical corner wall where lines and our names and ages were marked down. This thing modernized that idea and takes it up a notch with such a smart device. So far, it has been so accurate as well! I love that you can do this on your own or with the help of another. The design is cool, and the quality is great. Every house should have this, but that's just my personal take.

This does work, but is much more complicated than expected. The height seems accurate and the quality is nice, but most people that have seen it feel a little uncomfortable with it, I regret that it has a human like look - goes a bit uncanny valley for some people.

Die Körpergröße schnell mal ohne Hilfe von jemand anderen messen, dafür habe ich dieses Gerät gekauft.Es funktioniert einwandfrei und die Messungen stimmen nach mehrmaligen Messungen gut überein.Wichtig ist ein guter Untergrund, ich habe PVC-böden und damit optimale Messbedingung.

In a nutshell:Things I liked:+ Works very well. It's quite straightforward to use this to measure my children's height. Used it without shoes and on hardwood floors.+ It's a lot more fun than just measuring using a tape measure. My children showed a lot more engagement with this than they would have done with a tape measure.+ You can use the app to track data, but it works perfectly well as a measuring device without the app. It's worth googling the "Fitdays+" app to see exactly what the app can do - it's more than just height (although this specific device only measures height). Data syncs between this and the app quite easily.Things I didn't like:- Nothing really. The price is high compared to a tape measure and notebook (the alternative to recording family health data), but this is a smart device with additional features and should be compared as such.Do I recommend it?If you're interested in tracking your family's height (and health via the app) in a fun and engaging way, then absolutely. If you just want to see how tall you and your kids are, then of course there are cheaper ways to do this. But as a fun way to monitor health, I quite like it!

Yes this can be used without the app but I actually wanted to use it along side the app, unfortunately everytime I go to register it states it’s sent a verification code when I go to check my emails, including the junk file. There is no verification code. Now, I have contacted them directly, asking what the issue is and how it can be resolved and them yet to hear back.This is accurate at measuring, great to be used with some children as it’s something a little different to the average tape measure and is more fun.Robot design which is very engaging with child. Just rather disappointing I can’t use this to its full potential due to the issues with registration on the app.
