The kettle looks beautiful and it works fine. But the kettle is actually a plastic handle with plastic parts. It looks very sturdy in the photos but is not so sturdy when you lift it and use it. However I got over the initial surprise that it was somewhat of a cheap plastic product and really do like the way it looks and it does heat the water nicely and works very well. I think for the price of the kettle, I sorta expected it to be more solid.I do like it enough to have bought a second kettle to use at my vacation home. So I did by it twice and I do love the look of the design. Just know it’s not a sturdy kettle so if you have guest or kids who are not courteous to not break the plastic parts, you will have an expensive kettle with broken plastic parts.

Beautiful but the quality... the covering bubbled up, and then some plastic part melted into the bottom of the kettle, giving us light blue specs in our boiled water, and it started making weird noises too. I would not buy it again, the price is high and it is not justified.

If you are willing to pay for quality, I highly recommend this product. I like everything about it. All the features are well thought out the quality is second to none. Another feature that I really like about it is that the water stays hot within the carafe for a very long time.

I bought two for Christmas gifts and they are both a huge success. Makes preparing for tea so much more convenient, and eliminates the annoying tea kettle whistle that would previously scream through our house like nails on a chalkboard. This is a must buy for tea lovers.

My only complaint is that the water level indicator is placed right next to the handle, making it a bit hard to read, especially since it's quite narrow. Other than that, it's a fantastic product, and I would definitely recommend it!

Love this kettle. It’s so quick to heat up water, plus the pink looks sooo good. My only complaint is the pink don’t exactly match up with our smeg blender and vice versa. Not the end of the world but.

La marca es muy buena en diseño y cumple su función principal que es calentar agua, ya hay una versión que te calienta el agua a diferentes temperaturas, lo vi recién recibà el producto, pero en mi caso es suficiente, amantes del té muy puntuales se hubieran arrepentido.

There's a million other MUCH cheaper kettles you can buy, but there's a cost associated with brand names and design. My wife wanted a pink SMEG kettle and she got one, and she's SUPER happy with it. Good quality and still going strong after over a year!
