The title says it all. Over the years I've collected a good number of various Bowen/Calumet light modifiers. But I switched to Profoto flash packs. And with these adaptors I can painlessly put some of the Bowen modifiers onto my Profoto heads. All at a manageable cost.

Love the build, but when clamped it just isn't very tight and the modifier is loose. If pointed down it will slide off.

Thinking that this would be an awesome item to adapt the most current popular light modifier mount the BOWENS S to the the Best style of photographic head design PROFOTO and for a bargain ... well its a tight fit onto the PROFOTO or in my immediate needs the ELINCHROM ONE , it slipped on but was tight , I then noticed the design of this adapter was obviously made without any consideration of keeping the bare bulb design , the manufacturing was just taking parts that already existed and cooling them together , the mount makes the bare bulb design more like a snoot .. SERIOUSLY?? While this mount adapter will allow to use BOWENS S type light modifiers to PROFOTO or Elinchrom one heads , its really ONLY USEFUL for SNOOTS ... Thanks for wasting my time and efforts ...

This arrived missing one of its 3 tiny screws holding the whole thing together. Mounting anything to it will be dangerous. Do not recommend

The fit is good. I’ve attached an imported 27†aluminum beauty dish with Bowen’s mount to my D1. The weight for the dish didn’t affect the speed ring and keep it attached through a long shoot.
