One 20 lb bag cleared up about 15 ft of driveway coated in 1 inch of snow in about 30-45 minutes. Easy to spread, bag is easy to carry. This would be a great solution for light snow or ice coverage. It takes time for the melt to fully spread but very satisfying results.

Had a huge snow ice snow storm. We used this after it had been sitting and drove on. Helped melt and soften it up and make easier to break up and clear.

The product itself seems to work fine for melting the ice on my composite decking. Be aware they are not good shippers because the bag was inside of a box. The box was rather dilapidated, had been retaped, and the bag was torn inside the box so there was loose ice melt flowing out of the box when it was left on my porch.
