I have not put it to use yet however the handle comes in three sections which twist together not sure how long the handle will last not impressed with handle at all but is what it is issue with ordering online you really have no clue as to what you purchased until it is at your door step

Love it it chops plus you can push the ice with it and also get underneath the ice.

I gave this tool a low rating bc I needed a tool to remove thick ice buildup from my front porch steps. The blade is not sharp enough to cut thru much of anything & the pole kept coming loose, falling apart so I returned it.
