I was so disappointed that I couldn’t find a metal snow shovel in my home town , where it’s winter a good 4-5 months per year! I searched Amazon and found this awesome shovel that is NOT plastic, and it’s very good quality! I like the shorter handle for leverage … I couldn’t be more satisfied! I highly recommend this shovel for the price point!

This is a solid, well-made shovel. However, being on the heavy side, the blade tended to dig into the uneven concrete on my driveway when I was shoveling icy snow whereas my old "cheap" shovel, which is of lighter construction, did a better job of lifting the icy snow rather than getting caught on the rough concrete. Both shovels have aluminum blades but of different designs and thicknesses.
