pepper mill has plastic grinder parts inside. works great for awhile. mine stripped out after 6 mths or so. super glue fixed for a few more months. broke again. will replace with something different.

Love the ease of use, and size for large family. Great price , looks pretty and doesn’t take up a lot of space. We are a household of 11 , and use of often, with lots of kids , so it’s perfect!

This is a nice set for the price, looks attractive and the salt and pepper was fresh and flavorful. It's also nice that it came with spare parts should you ever need them. When I first tried them nothing happened and I thought something was wrong and they didn't work. Then it dawned on me that they probably had a paper seal under the lid for protection. They did, duh. I still had trouble get the pepper grinder started. I opened it and poured some of the peppercorns directly down into the grinder lid (very course setting) then reattached it while trying to avoid turning it completely upright. For some reason, that worked and it started grinding and I adjusted the coursness. Hope that helps anyone else that might run into the same thing.

I was excited to receive this item, but after receiving was quite disappointed. The grinding mechanism was very rough and difficult to use. And the salt one broke after 2 uses. Warning……..if it breaks on up you, they say there are no refunds and they cannot accept a return of this item. Buyer beware!

Whole grinder mechanism broke down in a week

Salt is good but the grinder is poorly designed. Does not work properly and the lid comes off.
