Not really a completely satisfying alternant to purpose built tools, the item works okay. The covers do have a tendency to slip off easily while you are working. They would probably work better if you have a tool with a profile that more closely matches the pattern of the supplied covers.

Pretty much what was expected. Feel like a soft plastic or a hard rubber. Definitely don't want to apply too much force to them, they'll probably tear. I don't imagine they'll be useful for precision applications, there's less clamping force at the very tips.I definitely feel like these should have been $8-10 total.MAKE SURE YOU INSTALL THEM ALL THE WAY! You have to push the plier jaws in a bit for the covers to fully seat.

These would probably work great if the item to be gripped can be centered in the jaws of the pliers. I was removing aerators from faucets. The aerators were to short to reach the center of the plier jaws, and I was not able to drip them with these soft touch jaws.

I think the item is overpriced. Also, I was hesitant to use it because it appeared flimsy and was afraid that it would tear easily. It was not engaging properly and slipping off the pliers. I like the concept but hope the seller can make it out of a sturdier material. I ended up returning it with a full refund.

Used this for getting cover off of a faucet to access the cartridge. Got it apart without leaving plier marks. Less expensive than dedicated pliers and takes a whole lot less room in the toolbox.

They work good, kinda of a loose fit, being universal to work with any plyers.
