I have crossbars on my roof rack and installed a hard rack. The sound was horrible though and I’m sure it affected my fuel efficiency. I bought this and it’s awesome! I can install it in less than 5 mins.Some people don’t think it’s sturdy but it was very secure and my snowboard did not move on my trip from Whistler and back.
