This thing works great and at a fantastic price. I've been able to run RV A/C on a 15-amp circuit and on a 2200-watt generator, each with no problem. I haven't used it for boondocking with the generator but it'll be so great to run A/C in warm weather.Was very easy to install but came with NO instructions or wiring diagam. However this is same as a name brand soft-start so instructions and wiring diagrams are available on the Internet. I double & triple checked my wiring 'cause I didn't want to take a chance on damaging the A/C but install was easy and all went well.I highly recommend this unit and at a fraction of the price of the name brand!

Not sure if it’s name brand but it looks like it. The board has “SoftStartRV†on it. SoftStartRV is selling for roughly $280. Doesn’t come with instructions but a little bit of research/thinking and you should be able to figure it out or open the qr code in the photos. Works great so far at 1/4 the price.

The unit comes with a piece of paper with a QR code that is a shady URL but if you take the risk and try to go to the URL, it just sits and loads. Eventually it failsdoesn't go anywhere at all. I haven't installed the unit yet and will update this review if I can figure out how and it works. Also of interest is the wiring gauge used. It is 1.5mm which is nonstandard for United States but this equates to less than 14ga. 12ga would be more appropriate for the types of loads an AC unit pulls.

Works perfectly. Use the instructions from the 7 wire “name brandâ€. Super easy to install in my Coleman Mach 8 and didn’t have to cut any wires.Everything needed was included except for double sided tape.

I purchased a soft start air conditioner from another family, that does not provide installation instructions, the price of more than 100 U.S. dollars, I have to go online to find their own installation instructions, inadvertently saw this product online, affordable price, installation instructions are also very detailed, so I was surprised, a little bit of a direct download, it's great, the introduction of a very detailed, read the reviews of this product, are said to be running well, this product is good, I'll next time! Purchased one to install on my motorhome
