Positives: This unit is lightweight and easy to handle. Although it has to be handled carefully and the probe inserted gently into soil (thoroughly wet the area to be tested), it gives immediate pH results for soil being tested. Because pH is so important in providing the proper conditions for good plant growth, this is a valuable unit to have.Scales are readable, and the head which contains the scales is pivotable to make the scales easier to read.It's worthwhile that it does not need batteries to make it's readings.Note: Unable to verify accuracy because I don't yet have any method to test pH of the soilNegatives: Just be careful when pushing the probe into the ground because you can damage it if forced into the soil.

Died within a week, none of the functions work. Disappointing, can’t bothered to try and get refund at this point. The only reason I gave two stars was it was great while it worked. THIS IS AN UPDATE: after posting this review I immediately received a full refund without taking any other action on my part. So, I'm assuming it was the manufacturer? I really did like it when it did work, so I'm thinking I'll order another one and keep the packaging just in case. At any rate I'll have to update rating to five stars since there was no money risk on my part.

I found the soil tester easy to use and I really like how it tilts to make reading it convenient. It accurately measures ph, moisture, fertilization and light. Makes gardening easier by taking much of the guess work out of the equation.So far it works well and has no issues to complain about.

I had a similar meter but it was flimsy and stopped working after a short time. Since I have many different potted plants from key lime tree, tomatoe plant, 20+ orchid plants of asst. Varieties, several plumeria, jasmine etc etc. They all require different needs and this well made meter makes it easier to keep my plants healthy. Very easy to use.

DO NOT BUY. It simply doesn't work at all. I tried it in multiple plants in different conditions over several days. NOTHING happened. It did not change the reading of the meter gauge at all.

The device is easy to read. Seems to be accurate. I have multiple raised beds growing many types of veggies. this product works great for me! Now I can easily keep track of the soil levels! Highly Recommend.

Last year I had a yield issue with my tomato's in my garden. I decided to buy a soil tester to see if there was something I could do to improve my yield. I purchased the AiGerdinn 4-in-1 Soil Test Kit and tested the soil and found a very high PH value. I added lime and brought the soil back to the required PH. The soil tester is easy to use and was extremely helpful identifying soil conditions.Fred F.Portland, Oregon. USA
