We bought several packs of these solar lights to place along the top of our block wall in the backyard so that we and the dogs had some light at night. They stand up to wind really well - we've had them about a year and a half and only one or two have ever been blown off the wall. They do yellow over time and get dimmer. We purchased some rechargeable batteries for them, but they still aren't quite as bright and clear as they were initially. I would still highly recommend them because they are great quality and they look really nice.

PRO: Largest Solar Cell panel of all I could find. This helps charge faster and/or in lesser lightPRO: Largest battery of all I could find. Will illuminate longer - IFF it gets fully charged by solar cellPRO: Bright enough for brown environment when fully charged in direct sun.NOTE: Full sun pictures are pre-charge direct sun facing - importantly - before installation.The installation is entrance landing, steps down to lower floor, to landing, to deck.This side of the house gets minimal full sun and the steps down are to the North further minimizing sun.CON: Not bright enough to be useful when installed on the shaded steps - even after a full non overcast day.3 of the 4 pictures have a mix of just installed (so fully charged in sun) and yesterdays (so full day of shade).Note the camera adapts some - so the steps look brighter than they were.But it is a good example of how bright the lights are IFF they can get a good charge. I was hopeful.Note in particular the single light picture. That is a shaded side single light an hour or two after dark. Note you can just barely the light itself. This is the same light that is in lower right of the full landing picture included - with some camera adaptation to light you can barely see the shade-charged ones and in particular how that one doesn't illuminate anything.Summary: These are great but ONLY IF you can install them so they get full sun. Not shade. Absolutely full sun for a good part of the day. In particular don't use for safety/steps unless you can do that.I did think these were the best I could find that weren't wired.Recommendation if shaded install (including say steps facing away or shallower angle) is to go straight to a wired installation.

I bought these lights to add light and atmosphere to my backyard deck. They are super easy to install and they work great! I look forward to evening now as my deck is very inviting at night now! I am looking forward to spending many evenings bathing in my deck light! : )

We’ve had these in use for 10 months and half of them are dead. Will buy some new batteries and hope that helps but feel they should be lasting longer, maybe I’m wrong.

Just what I expected. IGot 18 of them. Not disappointed. THey are atop my fence rails. we sit and entertain there. They shed more light than I expected. Fiddly at first to get the plastic guard on. Two sided tape supplied made the job of installing a cinch. After they are up, it's no trouble to pull The plastic guard off and change from white light to coloured.TWo of them didn't come on the first night, but after absorbing the sun, they came on the second night. I am not turning on my outside light. These are sufficient. Not enough to play cards or read, but you can see each other no trouble.. I used two sided gorilla tape on a few, but much prefer what was supplied. Very handsome. A bit pricey, though.

I fitted these deck lights progressively around the back patio fence line to create a magic at night effect while relaxing with a drink in our patio area.Combined with our water feature and outdoor furniture we have a wonderful relaxing area.I do note though that some lights fail and need to be replaced, so be careful to use a quality double sided tape to fix the lights to top of fence-do not use the provided double sided tape.

Worked out great, used some glue to attach it to the balcony railings. There not super bright but does the trick to add some ambiance.
