We have an open deck on a corner lot so our back yard and deck are seen from the road in front of our house. The open deck has been a problem because there is no railing around it, it is easy to misstep and stumble from one step to the next. We have stained the middle “step/ring†around the deck a darker color than the top and bottom so we can see the edge. At night however, we cannot always see the edge. These lights are perfect! The fit right on the edge of the steps so we can clearly see the edge. They recharge during the day from the ample sun that hits our deck and continue thru the night. They also look lovely as one drives by on the road in front of our house. Neighbors have stopped by and commented on how nice they look and asked where we got them. My daughter and son in law came for a visit and admired them and also wanted to know where to purchase them. Our friends from Florida came for a visit and they also complimented and inquired as to where to purchase. They are well worth the price!!! We haven’t had a winter with them yet so snow fall maybe an issue for them to recharge we will wait and see. I am very pleased with them so far however.

The solar lights were easy to install. All the screws are included. You just need a screw driver. They are small and are light weight, so of course, they don’t produce much light. We put them on the fence — our dogs’ fenced in area. The lighted area looks attractive but that’s about it. I think these solar lights are more suited for stair steps (as they are advertised). We had 2 left over which we put on our deck steps. These provided enough light on the steps. They seem to be sturdy. I think they will last awhile. We’ll see. We selected the brown color to match the wood on the fence. The color matched well.We have ordered a few larger solar lights to augment the fenced area, which we should have done in the first place.

I purchased these lights for my backyard steps and at the opening of my gate entrance. They are peel and stick. So far, they have stuck to the brick on my steps even through rain and winds. One light did stop working, but the others have been great. They dress up your patio so nicely. I would definitely get them again.

I bought these for our back deck to give a bit of extra light. They are very easy to install and look nice along our deck. They charge well and last quite a while. Unfortunately they are not very bright, but enough to see. They give off a dim yellow lighting, more of an ambiance effect than lighting. Worth the money in my opinion as they do look nice.
